DESCRIPTION

The Tuscan inspired 2500sf estate is built in the extreme fire and earthquake zones of the southern California town of Murrieta. The plans underwent an exhaustive review for earthquake and fire safety by the building and fire departments in Riverside County. Built in the hundred degree plus summer days of Murrieta’s wine country, the buildings (except the barrel barn) were not mechanically air-conditioned, relying solely on passive night flushing; using the high insulation and high thermal mass of the Energy Mass™ walls to maintain cool interior temperatures.
